The 10-Minutes-a-Day Kitchen Organization Plan

You don’t need a free weekend to organize your kitchen. You need ten minutes a day for five days. Here’s the plan.

Day 1: The counter sweep

Clear everything off the counters. Only things you use daily earn their spot back. Everything else gets a home in a cabinet — or the donation box.

Day 2: The junk drawer

Tip it out, bin half of it, divide the rest into compartments. Ten minutes, lifetime of satisfaction.

Day 3: Spices

Toss the expired, group the rest where you cook, put the daily five at eye level.

Day 4: Under the sink

Empty, purge duplicates, add a second shelf level, zone by frequency of use.

Day 5: The fridge

Wipe shelves, group by category, claim the side of the fridge with magnetic storage for the things that always float around the counter.

Fifty minutes total. The trick isn’t effort — it’s that each zone is small enough to finish.
